<p>Since eating food and relaxing is easier, and more enjoyable than starving and exercising, most people want to lose weight quickly and get it over with. People are looking for the fastest way to lose weight.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s look at some options. You can go on a starvation diet. This will certainly help you to lose weight. But the drawback is that it can be extremely difficult to maintain for more than a couple days. As soon as you stop, you are likely to gain back any weight you&#8217;d lost. So this one is out.</p>
<p>There are diets that preclude certain types of foods, like no carb diets. These also work. But carbs taste good. Bagels taste good. Pasta tastes good. Not many people can last very long on this diet either, unless of course you have superhuman will power. I know I don&#8217;t.</p>
<p>How about exercise? I have friends who run every night for an hour or so. They are pretty skinny. But it&#8217;s hard, it makes your knees hurt, and to be honest, it&#8217;s pretty boring. There&#8217;s a reason you don&#8217;t see too many joggers out and about every day.</p>

<p>Contestants on the Biggest Loser have great success because all they have to focus on is losing weight. They don&#8217;t have all the daily life activities such as commuting to work and taking care of children and the family, that take time and energy away from losing weight.</p>
<p>Losing weight quickly and safely is possible for busy moms.</p>
<p>1. Don&#8217;t drink calories. Change from sugary, fattening sodas and mochas for healthier versions such as diet drinks and sugar-free skinny lattes. Switch to skim milk and eat fruit instead of drinking fruit juice. Most importantly, drink more water. Making these simple changes can save hundreds of calories a day without sacrificing your thirst.</p>
<p>2. Have fun! As you get older, exercise is more important to keeping your body working efficiently. But exercise doesn&#8217;t have to be a chore done at the gym or running a marathon. Instead, go outside with the kids and play. Tag and hide-n-seek can burn calories, give you time with the kids and is fun. Or if you have a baby, take him for a walk or hike in a stroller or baby pack. Dance classes, tennis lessons and other classes can be fun while also burning calories.</p>
<p>3. Choose healthier food. You don&#8217;t have to give up the food you enjoy to eat better. Instead, make simple changes such as switching refined foods for whole grain options. Include veggies and fruits with each meal for fiber that will help you feel full. Experiment with ways to make your favorite meals healthier.</p>
<p>4. Watch portion sizes. Eating portions two and three times too large is one reason people struggle with weight loss.  Large quantities of food, even healthy items, can add weight. Learn how to eat a single portion by reading labels and measuring food. Drink water or have an apple to fill you up if one portion isn&#8217;t enough.</p>
<p>5. Snack on healthy food. Eat air popped popcorn with spray and popcorn seasoning instead of chips and other high calorie options. Other good snacks include a handful of almonds, a tablespoon of peanut butter in celery or an apple, vanilla yogurt or frozen berries.</p>
<p>6. Have small desserts. You don&#8217;t have to live the rest of your life without eating the yummy stuff. I have some chocolate every day, but only 150 calories or less. Ice cream is available in low-fat, low-sugar options that are still tasty. Do allow yourself to indulge in dessert, but do so in moderation.</p>
<p>You don&#8217;t have to make drastic changes in your life to lose weight. Simple things such as swapping high calorie drinks and foods for lower-calorie, healthier alternatives, playing with the kids, and paying attention to portion sizes can make a big difference.</p>

<p>How are we supposed to know which advice to take about the best way to lose weight? In reality, most pills and slimming products do not work, and most companies are just out to take our money! Here&#8217;s what we discovered about weight loss programs when we sorted the wheat from the chaff&#8230;</p>
<p>Firstly, we searched for dieticians who weren&#8217;t just interested in selling us a repeat purchase item. Authors that could teach us sustainable habits. Expertise, not hype! So a dependence on expensive diet products was out &#8211; we simply endeavoured to find solid, practical solutions.</p>
<p>We went for practical &#8216;real&#8217; programs and dismissed all the fad and product-based slimming regimes. They&#8217;re never a long-term solution.</p>
<p>Our chosen programs have been written by insightful individuals that comprehend the issues associated with obesity. They offer practical guidance and workable instructions on banishing the fat for good. The truths you&#8217;ll read about may surprise you. <p>For the most part, most of these weight loss products will only help you lose money instead of the required pounds. A common factor of many fat loss ads is the secret ingredient that works magic making your weight vanish in no time. In reality, there is only one true effective way to decrease body fat and lose your body weight, and that is through a regimen of diet and exercise.</p>
<p>Although many people cringe at the word diet, it does not have to be such a terrifying experience, if you condition your body to accept a certain lifestyle. Our bodies are naturally adaptable to our environment and will adjust to the changes we make in a rather short period. Real fat loss and an improved health will result from the efficient implementation of rules necessary to create a good body shape.</p>

Instead of trying to lose 20 pounds, you could start by trying to lose two first and progressively reach the bigger goal. You will find that by making small goals and working slowly toward your ultimate end of decreasing your weight and increasing your fat loss, you will easily meet your goal.</p>
<p>Remember that you pile up the extra pounds in a certain time interval, and they will not disappear over night. There are no 100% efficient weight loss programs that will help you eliminate 20 pounds in a week or increase your fat loss out of the blue, weight loss requires determination and adjusting your body to a certain mindset and environment of fat loss, diet and exercise.</p>
