The endometrial tissue is supposed to be found in the lining of the uterus, however, there are times when it makes its way to other locations, including the surface of the ovaries or the fallopian tubes as well as others. The majority of cases of endometriosis (the medical term for this condition) occur in women who are between the ages of 25 and 45, with the average age being 30 (Source: Ammers, 2005). There are as many as 10 million cases of endometriosis in the United States alone and it is one of the top three causes of infertility. It is also the source of about 80% of all chronic pelvic pain and is the reason for about 300,000 hysterectomies each year (Source: Grish, 2009).

There are a number of theories about why it happens, including a theory that relates it to an immune system malfunction, however, none of the current theories have been proven yet. A secondary theory is that it is hormonal and may be related to a faulty reaction to stress in the body. There are a number of symptoms to watch for and a number of ways to deal with endometriosis once it has started. In many cases, it may be mild and only cause minor pain and discomfort, however, in other, more severe cases, endometriosis may lead to the cause of a total and complete hysterectomy.

Nutrition is one of the easiest ways to deal with the symptoms of endometriosis and involves a change in some aspects of the diet. For most women with endometriosis, one of the first changes that needs to be made will be with protein. Plant based protein should be substituted for animal based protein as much as possible.

The Top Ten Signs of Endometriosis

Before the doctor can find the right treatment plan for you, there has to be a diagnosis. Many women will have endometriosis for a long period of time without having any symptoms at all while some are in misery right away. The signs that could indicate that you have endometriosis include:

- Pelvic pain before, during or after menstruation or during ovulation

- Intestinal pain during your period

- Pain during urination

- Pain and/or bleeding during or after sexual intercourse

- Frequent diarrhea or constipation (this is often in connection with the menstrual cycle)

- Abdominal bloating that comes in connection with your period

- Heavy or irregular bleeding

- Fatigue

- Infertility

(Source: Grish, 2009)

Pain is the most troubling aspect of endometriosis for most people, however, because it causes other conditions to go undiagnosed in some cases or can cause other problems to be worse, so it is important that all aspects of endometriosis be addressed. Because it may or may not be the result of an immune system gone wild, it is important that proper nutrition be one of the top priorities. Good nutrition, especially protein, plays an important role in the immune system and can help the body to be strong and capable.

Trying to deal with endometriosis before it becomes a problem is beneficial because it may develop into a serious condition that needs surgery, namely a hysterectomy, to be taken care of. The earlier that a woman has to go through a hysterectomy, the more likely she is to need hormone replacement therapy to deal with the medically induced menopause. Increased exposure to these artificial hormones has been shown to have a direct link to an increase in breast cancer risk.

Food and Supplemental Information to Keep in Mind

The experts recommend that the diet be healthy and well-balanced, full of fruits, vegetables and whole grains, with very little fatty foods and sugars.

Dairy Products — For women who have endometriosis, dairy consumption should be limited as much as possible. If you must have dairy, use only low-fat or skim products whenever possible. There are substitutes for dairy, however, including soy milk, which is a complete protein source and is lower in fat than milks or cheeses. Dairy products often have saturated fats, which are stressful for the liver and may increase the amount of estrogen in the body. Saturated fats also have protalgandin F20-alpha, which causes muscle contractions and can make cramps and other painful symptoms of endometriosis even worse (Source: Lark, M.D.)

Protein — Protein should come from non-meat sources as much as possible because of the saturated fats and the problems they create. Protein from vegetable sources tends to be lower in fat and calories but must often be eaten in combinations because most plant proteins are incomplete (they lack one or more of the eight essential amino acids that they body needs.) Soy is the only plant-based protein that is complete, however, and should be included as a good substitute for meat proteins. Eggs, while animal-based, are low in saturated fats as well as in total fats and are a perfect protein, meaning that all of the protein they contain is absorbed and used by the body.

Protein supplements are an alternative way to get the right nutrition. Profect, from Protica, is a small, liquid protein shot that is less than three ounces and quick to consume but packs in a full 25 grams of protein per serving in only 100 calories. In addition, there are no added fats or sugars at all.

Organic foods — Buying organic foods is a suggestion that is made by Dr. Susan M. Lark, M.D., an author and director of the PMS and Menopause Self Help Center in Los Altos, California. She also specializes in the care of women’s health and women’s health issues. Non-organic vegetables and fruits may have high concentrations of pesticides that can have a direct correlation with endometriosis. If you cannot buy organic foods, then scrub and/or peel them before they are used. There are commercial rinses that can be beneficial as well. Organic foods are becoming more accepted and may be coming down in price, at least in some grocery stores.

Caffeine and Alcohol — Caffeine is bad for the liver, which in turn can be bad for endometriosis sufferers. As the caffeine depletes the body’s vitamin B, it makes the liver work harder and causes more estrogen to be released. The increased estrogen can cause more problems related to endometriosis. Alcohol also stresses the liver as it works to remove the alcohol from the body, again leading to an increase in the amount of estrogen that is released.

Carbohydrates — Excess sugar in the body is not good for anyone, but for those who are suffering from endometriosis, it can be even more problematic. Sugar and refined white flour may deplete the action of the immune system, which may increase the problems felt with endometriosis. It is advisable that only complex carbohydrates be consumed, including whole grain breads and pastas.

Fatty acids — Omega-3′s and Omega-6′s help to create series-1 prostaglandins, which help to relax the muscles and the blood vessels. These hormone-like chemicals are created by the fatty acids found in raw seeds, oils and fatty fish. One of the best of these is flaxseed oil or pumpkin seed oil. Fresh oils should be kept in the refrigerator, and their beneficial fatty acids are destroyed by heat, so do not cook with them. These may be difficult to find and may be expensive. If you would prefer, you can get the fatty acids from other sources.

Additional Vitamins and Minerals — Because endometriosis may be related to the immune system, it is important that it be as strong as possible. In addition to proper nutrition, the woman may be advised to increase her intake of vitamin C, E and the B complex vitamins. It is important to stay within the right amount of each vitamin because some can be toxic at high doses as well as the having the possibility of reactions with other kinds of medications.

Probiotics — Another suggestion that is made by experts for the treatment of endometriosis is the use of probiotic supplements, such as the yogurt that supplies L.acidophilus and B.bifidum. There are also capsules that contain live cultures of both that you can take. You can find them at the health food stores.

One of the most important factors of cardiovascular health is good nutrition. A number of other components are involved as well, including factors, which include such good health traits as optimal blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and fasting blood-glucose levels. Behaviors are another component, which include the things that we do in our everyday lives, such as our diets, exercise habits, and other habits, such as smoking or drinking.

Promoting a Heart-Healthy Lifestyle

At one time, physicians and other health professionals concentrated on the conditions themselves, and not the underlying causes. These days, doctors have a much better understanding about the role that a healthy, well-balanced diet and lifestyle play in heart health. This is a theory that has been adopted by the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Association, and the American Diabetic Association.

Smoking

One of the most harmful substances we can put in our bodies is nicotine. Cigarettes can cause any number of problematic health conditions, from heart disease to lung cancer. Adults who smoke need to do whatever it takes to quit as soon as they are able, because it is possible for some of the adverse health effects of smoking to be reversed. Lung function returns to a normal level very soon after quitting smoking and the chances of developing heart and lung diseases is greatly reduced.

Adult smokers should never smoke around children. Second-hand smoke is proven to be more harmful than if a person smokes themselves. And, children who come from households with smokers have a greater tendency to become smokers themselves. The easiest way for children to kick the habit of smoking is to never begin in the first place.

Physical Fitness

Your BMI (Body Mass Index) plays a large role in heart health, and there are a number of lifestyle changes you can make to ensure that your BMI is ideal. Don’t bother with fad diets. They don’t work, and you are often left feeling hungry, because you are not getting the proper nutrients. Instead, opt for healthy eating habits and a well-balanced diet. Of course, physical activity is always recommended, not only for heart health, but for overall physical fitness. Children should be encouraged to get out and get active, and be taught how to eat healthy as well.

Enjoy A Healthy, Well-Balanced Diet For Heart Health

There are three macronutrients we need in order to maintain healthy diets, protein, carbohydrates, and fats. There are a number of excellent food sources of protein, especially animal foods, such as lean red meat, fish, and poultry. Nuts, grains, beans, and milk product are all excellent sources of dietary protein as well. According to studies from the American Heart Association, we should be getting 35% of our daily caloric intake from proteins.

Protein Supplements When Your Diet Just Isn’t Enough

If you are not getting enough of the right proteins in your diet, you can get the nutrients you are lacking with protein supplements. There are many different types of protein supplements, from powder to liquid, to capsule, and optimally, the ones you choose will not contain additional sugar and fats. Some of the most popular proteins used in today’s protein supplements include whey, casein, egg, soy, and rice.

Whey: This is one of the most accessible, inexpensive, and popular forms of protein supplement available. This also comes from milk, and is a bi-product of the cheese-making process. It is also found naturally in other foods, including chicken, fish, and beef. Whey digests quickly, and may also help to improve blood pressure and blood vessel functions. This is not recommended for those who are lactose intolerant.

Casein: Although it takes much longer to digest than whey, the effects of casein last longer. Although it does not mix as easily as whey, it is available in a number of flavored shakes. It is a bit more expensive than whey, and must be avoided by those who are lactose intolerant.

Egg Protein: Also known as egg albumin, this comes from egg whites, and can be found in a powdered form. You will find this as an ingredient in many supplements, and it begins acting within one to three hours of ingesting it. This is good for people who can’t tolerate milk products, but not for those with allergies to eggs or chicken. Egg proteins are made from mostly natural ingredients.

Soy Protein: If you have egg or chicken allergies, are lactose intolerant, or a vegetarian, soy protein is the protein supplement choice for you. It contains no cholesterol or saturated fats, and is considered to be a complete protein, because it contains all of the essential amino acids. Like eggs, soy products are made from natural ingredients.

Rice Protein: This is also a good source of proteins for vegetarians and people with allergies or lactose intolerant. It is gluten-free, and is low-carb, low-fat, low-cal, so it is ideal for diets. Powdered rice protein is great in shakes and smoothies, sprinkled on certain foods, or added into recipes for added nutrition.

Profect Supplement: Small, nutritious and portable, Profect from Protica is ideal for controlling blood glucose levels, as well as the appetite. This is a small serving, only 2.9 fluid ounces, but it packs a punch with 25 grams of protein per serving.

Fats And Carbs

Contrary to popular belief, we do need a limited amount of fats and carbohydrates in our diets. In fact, carbohydrates should be the greatest part of our diets, and we can get healthy carbohydrates by eating such tasty foods as whole grain breads and pastas and fruits and vegetables. Limit, or even avoid, simple carbohydrates. And, in addition to carbohydrates, fats should account for about 20% of our daily caloric intake, and we can get them from such sources as olive oil and fatty fish (but not deep fried).

Proper nutrition is the cornerstone of an athlete’s career. Still, many athletes do not realize the importance of this or they’re just simply clueless about the subject. Not knowing anything about nutrition will lead to bad habits that then result in an unsuccessful career.

It is not uncommon for a bodybuilder to take severe measures prior to a competition to lose weight fast to achieve a certain category for the event. This puts an incredible amount of stress on the body and may actually reduce his strength in the long run. A certain nutritional balance is necessary to build muscle. One of the best ways to avoid developing bad eating habits as an athlete is to keep a record of exactly what you eat and your caloric intake. In this way you can ensure that you attain the nutritional balance your body requires.

The book “Nutrition for the Recreational Athlete” by Catherine Jackson shows how a diet that consists of almost all protein can have a negative impact on an athlete. Eating a diet of mostly protein causes irritability and will lower energy and an athlete’s ability to main a rigorous exercise program. This can be avoided by eating a balanced diet that is tailored to your training goals. Some of the effects of an unbalanced diet on your ability to train can result in the following:

Limited Strength: If an athlete eats too little protein while training it will decrease their ability to improve their strength. Choose foods that are lean and high in protein such as egg whites, tofu and lean proteins like chicken. Avoid high fat proteins.

Edgy and Irritable: Irritability is one of the hallmarks of low blood sugar. If you are finding it difficult to concentrate and focus it may be a result of not eating enough carbohydrates consistently. In order to stabilize blood sugar it is necessary to eat at evenly space times throughout the day. Increase your intake of fruits, vegetables and whole grains but eat small portions.

Decreased Immunity to Illness: If you are finding that you are getting sick more often, it is probably a result of improper nutrition in your diet. This can wreak havoc on your training sessions. Keep variety in your diet and be certain that what you are eating has sufficient quantities of the B-vitamins and minerals.

Inability to Progress: If you are unable to obtain your exercise goals and find that you are even losing ground the reason may not be due to your will power but to your diet. You may not be eating enough calories before each training session and this leaves your body running on empty. About an hour before your work out, eat a small serving of carbohydrates. This may be all you need to get you going again.

Loss of ambition: If your motivation to exercise is shrinking, chances are you are not taking proper care of your body. It is essential to eat enough and to get enough sleep when participating in a rigorous training program. Eat small meals throughout the day and get plenty of sleep and see if that doesn’t fire you up again. Many professional athletes eat something small every two to three hours. Keeping your blood sugar level on an even keel will help you keep up with the demands you are placing on your body.

by Kent Rogerson

A lot of people wants to be muscular, with the possible exception of sumo wrestlers. If you want to build muscles the fastest way, then you must strictly abide by a very effective muscle building routine and stick to it. You must set you goals and really dedicate yourself in making them happen.

Apart from the usual fitness machines, there are some products that have claimed to help you reach your desired muscle mass. However, you need to be wary of these bodybuilding products if you decide to use them to realize your goals. Remember, if they sound too good to be true, then they probably are.

Have you heard of protein bars and shakes that are rumored to have the perfect formula to give you a hand in getting muscles? A number do deliver the goods as promised. But almost all of them do not. When you want to check out any product that claims to help you get your desired muscle mass, it makes a lot of sense if you ask for an expert opinion first before testing them out.

Having said that, building muscles the traditional way remains to be the best option for anyone. Raise some weights, do exercise routines, and really look at what your dietary intake. It may be a pain in the butt but as the old saying goes, no pain, no gain.

Speaking of diet, you can increase you muscle mass by eliminating saturated fats from your diet. What you need are essential fats since they have really good effects on your body. French fries, burgers, and hotdogs are just some of the items you need to erase from your daily menu.

You can also increase your muscle mass by taking in essential vitamins and minerals. Your body will need them provide you with an energy boost when you do your workout routines. Also, give your body adequate rest. Overworking your muscles hamper the development of your muscles and making them more prone to fatigue. It would be better if you can sleep at least six hours everyday.

Building your body up requires hard work. There is neither a magic product nor a quick fix that can help you achieve the kind of body you want. You have to work hard for it, earn it. It might take some time, but with true effort, you’ll see that the results are all worth it.

Many people go a little overboard when it comes to toning abs. This is because it is quite difficult to get strong, tone abdominals. A dedicated routine that is well balanced is generally not part of most people’s program. How can anyone achieve strong tone abs?

There are many ways to achieve toned strong abdominal muscles. Although many begin by doing abdominal exercise that is not always best. The first steps to a flatter stomach should be getting rid of the fat.

Fat around the abdominal muscles is quite common. When most people want to flatten their abs, they need to reduce the amount of fat first. This sometimes gives the results they were looking for. Other times it allows them to see their abs so that they can tone them.

The best way to reduce fat on the body is to reduce how much goes in. A nutrition program is a great way to deal with this problem. A good diet will help reduce fat and increase productivity from exercise. Exercising without nutrition sometimes defeats the purpose of exercising in the first place.

It is also important to include lots of water. Drink water not just because you’re thirsty. Water transports nutrients, and lubricates tissues and joints. It even helps with digestion which can help you lose the fat.

While nutrition reduces the amount of fat going in, aerobic exercise burns the fat that is there. Aerobic exercise burns calories and increases the heart rate. Aerobic exercise can get rid of the fat around your abs. An effective abdominal workout will include aerobic exercise.

The above examples have all been about losing fat. Even with little fat around the abdominal, the muscles need to be tone. Abdominal exercises are the best way to tone those specific muscles. Listed below are exercises that are great for toning the abs.

The Bicycle Crunch: An exercise for the rectus abdominus; its as easy as riding a bike. This exercise is done on the floor. While lying on your back alternate bringing one elbow to each knee.

The Ab Crunch: This exercise ball routine targets rectus abdominus. The exercise ball is used to support the lower back. While laying on the ball, keep your feet on the floor. Use the abdominal muscles only to raise your center.

The Vertical Leg Crunch: The Vertical leg crunch is an easy yet effective exercise for the external obliques. This is performed while lying on the floor. Slightly bend your knees and raise your legs. Use your abdominal muscles to lift your shoulder blades off of the floor.

The Reverse Crunch: The reverse crunch is a floor exercise that targets the obliques. While lying on the floor, place you hands at your side. Next, bend you knees and raise them. The abs are stretched by using them to lift the hips.

These four exercises are a very good way to achieve strong tone abs. However, as mentioned before, it takes dedication, routine and a well balanced workout. Make sure you have a mixture of a good diet, aerobic exercise, and abdominal exercises. If you stick with it, your abs can be strong and tone in no time.

Many individuals are interested in burning fat and there are specific bodybuilding workouts that are best for burning fat. Having too much body fat can cause many health issues so getting in shape is very important. What most individuals do not realize is that body building and strength training is very important to lose weight as you need strength training and cardiovascular exercise.

Your diet is an important part of the body building workout as certain foods and vitamins are necessary to build muscle. If you are looking to do body building to burn fat then you need to make sure you have plenty of calcium as calcium is needed to regulate body fat storage as well as to keep your blood pressure low.

Body building is also used to build muscle besides just staying in shape. There are many different types of workouts depending on what your goals are. Many individuals want to tone the muscles that they have, other want to build overall muscle mass while others may want to focus on increasing and defining specific muscle groups.

To build as much muscle as possible you will need to change the foods you are eating and eating a high protein diet. This protein should be in the form of lean protein as you do not want to pack on any fat. You also should increase your calorie intake per day by about 500 calories. By eating more protein your body will have the right material to build muscle.

To gain the maximum amount of muscle as possible you should aim for performing 5 to 12 repetitions of each exercise. The exercises that you do for each muscle group should change every few weeks and you should look at lifting as much weight as you can with proper form with a day every now and then lifting lighter weights to allow your muscles to recover. By following these guidelines you will not be in danger or overtraining.

Your body building workout will be different if you are also looking to lose fat. Instead of increasing the calories you are eating you should decrease the calories and try to limit your fat intake. You need to combine strength training using weights with cardiovascular exercise. The cardio should be done after the strength training to burn the most calories.

You will need to do strength training or resistance training at least twice a week in order to maintain or build your muscle mass, otherwise you will lose muscle along with fat. Generally you should lift waits for at least 30 to 45 minutes.

If you just want to lose weight then you will still need to do strength training but the weights you lift should not be too heavy. Really you are just lifting weights to keep the muscle that you have. For people that are looking to lose weight and using body building most times they are not successful because of their diet. This should be the first area you look into.

In this article we will be looking at a critical factor when it comes to gaining weight. While other factors like eating enough calories, working out at the gym, taking in enough proteins, etc are all vitally important, there is an even more important factor for successful muscular weight gain. And that my friend is your mentality. What does that mean? Well, it simply means the mind set you have when it comes to gaining weight.

While it is true that skinny guys who want to bulk up may feel that they will only feel better or more confident if they had that extra mass, it is very important that they see in their own mind that they already are so. Huh? What does that mean?

Allow me to elaborate. Lets say you are going to break a piece of thick wood with a karate chop. You’ve never done it and you don’t know if you could. You might have prepared for it by training with easier materials. How do you make sure that you are able to break that piece of wood? Simple. You see it in your minds eye that you have already done so.

There is no difference between a vivid imagination and an actually real world experience for your mind. It just reacts the same and stimulates the necessary conditions in your body to perform that function. So what Im saying is that you should visualize your body already muscular and bulked up. You already are beaming with confidence and strength.

Repeat this mental movie in your head until it becomes real and tangible to you. This is not some silly mind game and it works. Studies have shown athletes who did these kind of mind exercises actually fared better than those who didn’t (given that their skill levels were all similar).

As a side-effect, it also gathers all your mental energy and allows you to focus and keep your eye on your bulking up goal. Many people fail in gaining weight not because they didn’t know what to do. On the contrary, they knew exactly what to do. What happened was that they did not really believe that they could do it and just tried their plan. Well you could guess the ending ” all of them without exception gave up half-way. So don’t let that happen to you. Take the time to play around with this mental exercise and get your mind and body really fired up for your weight gain goal.

by Anne Torres

You’ve read all sorts of tips and advice about how to build some meaty muscle. You’ve most likely even heard it directly from a gym instructor or maybe an older cousin who had his own six-pack stories to tell. Truth is, whether you’re a hardgainer or a regular gym buff with a lot of muscled dreams, there could only be three things to remember.

First, eat the right foods in the right amounts. If you’re going to build muscle, you’re going to need a lot of that stuff that muscles are made of – protein. Everything from drinks to desert should be protein-based to make sure you’re getting as much of this power nutrient holed up in your body. Protein-rich food include meat, the darker ones being the richest, nuts and seeds, tofu, eggs, milk and cheese. If you’re unsure just how much protein you need on a daily basis, take your body weight in kilograms and multiply it by .8 or in pounds by .37. Whatever amount you come up with must be distributed in numerous servings all through out the day.

While proteins supply the building blocks of muscle, carbohydrates propel their growth. This is important for all muscle builders to realize because when carbohydrates are insufficient, the proteins will not be fueled enough to reach their maximum potential for manufacturing muscle fibers. Besides, when the body cannot create sufficient energy from carbohydrates, it will start utilizing protein deposits which, of course, further limits muscle growth. Thus, when you want to build, build with these two together. However, for those who typically metabolize their food faster, hardgainer supplements will help fill in the gaps.

Second, lift the right weights the right way. Lifting too light will give you endurance while lifting too heavy will enhance your power. But since you want to be growing muscle, pump the iron you can’t pump any more than six to eleven times each set. This is the standard weight that will get your body manufacturing those muscle fibers that sooner or later create the bulk.

Free weights also work better than machines for the reason that they allow you to achieve an ideal body form for each movement to be performed with precision. This is, of course, important because a bad form predisposes you to injury and even eats away at poundage already gained.

Third, lift with the right distinctions. Three weeks is all it takes for your body to become accustomed to anything new so if you want to keep that muscle growing, you have to catch it off-guard every now and then. Your muscles grow in size to compensate for the additional stress you put it through. When the level of training is constant, your body will stop interpreting it as stress and stops responding. It will find no reason to recompense, therefore, the muscle stops growing.

About the Author:

People who typically take longer to build muscle will benefit from a hardgainer’s workout program. When coupled with a specially designed hardgainer nutrition regimen, these ectomorphs may well be on their way to growing the bulk.

If you’ve been spending time in the gym, whether to build those muscles or lose weight, you’re constantly exposed to injuries. You’ve almost certainly heard a story or two from other gym buffs who’ve had to deal with a swollen tendon or a strained back. Body builders, conversely, are more prone to these injuries for the reason that they’re the ones who deal with the most amount of stress during training.

When it comes to workout-related muscle injuries, the golden rule of avoidance applies. You’ve probably heard this a million times by now but that’s only because it is a fact accepted by most fitness experts. When you simply keep your mind to what you’re doing, whether you’re pumping the iron or stretching those hamstrings, you save yourself a great deal of trouble.

If you’re one to go around the gym without a clear purpose, that’s another red flag for injury. For example, if you make a weaker muscle pull at a stronger one, you might be courting knee disaster. You always need to have a plan that won’t only pack those muscles but keep you safe all throughout as well. Once you have a plan, stick to it and make it work.

Injuries, of course, may not be totally prevented and this is just another reason why you need to eat right when you’re weight training. With good nutrition, your body heals faster and it takes you less time to actually start seeing the results of your hard work. This is especially true for those who are in a program for hardgainers who typically metabolize their food so fast that their muscles couldn’t take advantage of the nutrients long enough. Hardgainer or not, when you follow a healthy and sensible diet, you’ll always be more prepared to handle injury.

It’s not uncommon to hear gym folks complaining of all sorts of body aches and the usual cause may be attributed to misuse of weights. Some people actually force themselves to work out even if they’re dealing with some illness. This is, of course, a bad idea because anyone in a weakened state cannot possibly expend his energy other than to recover his strength. Injuries are not a far possibility in this scenario.

Other gym injuries are brought about by sheer lack of knowledge on how to properly execute certain moves. For instance, being inappropriately positioned for a bench press can easily cause muscle tears. Form is always significant not just to target the right muscles but also to protect them.

About the Author:

Part of your success at the gym requires you to be conscious about each move you make so whether you follow a regular workout plan or hardgainer routines as part of your hardgainer training, focus is always important to avoid injuries.

by Leon Williams

In regard to building muscle mass, there is an unbelievable amount of nonsense being spread around. All that misinformation becomes distributed quite intentionally by dishonest snake oil salesmen who want to keep you overweight and flabby or scrawny and weak. Perhaps it’s beyond your comprehension how so many people could be engaged in such perverse dishonesty.

The answer is simple: as long as you remain discontent with your fitness level, you will not stop throwing your hard-earned cash away on services and products that supposedly will help you find the most effective way to gain muscle mass. They are all to aware of the fact that if you truly achieve your goals, become fit, keep yourself healthy and have no further complications, the fitness industry won’t be able to rip you off anymore.

The lies and falsehoods persist for a reason. There are definite reasons why workout techniques and health foods that are hyped to the heavens one day suddenly get tossed out the window, instantly and replaced by the next new myth or diet. Clearly, the motive is profit.

Make no mistake, though: the secrets you’ll discover here concerning the most effective ways to gain muscle mass – and permanently keep that muscle after you’ve developed it – do not mean that you have to buy a slew of expensive equipment or foods or drinks. These methods are genuine and empowering and the liars and cheaters positively do not want you learning about them. They will do everything in their power to make sure you keep buying their falsehoods about, for instance, protein – and the totally false notion that strong muscle reverts to mush if you don’t keep working it every single day.

If you really look at it, this endless stream of half-truths and lies regarding building muscle mass isn’t all too surprising. The mainstream medical community has a financial interest in making sure we stay sick. The people who make fast food have a definite interest in making sure we stay hungry. Over and over again we hear stories about how huge corporations use false documents and total untruths to ensure that they continue to be in power. The corporate tobacco dealers actually lost history-making lawsuits because of this type of behavior and were forced to surrender millions of dollars because of it.

Unfortunately, the fitness industry is so spread out that it can’t be exposed the way cigarette makers were. Enormous companies that sell exercise equipment and protein shakes are engaged in the same dishonest business practices as nickel-and-dime con artists who set up shop online one day and disappear as soon as they’ve made a few bucks.

The techniques you’ll learn here weren’t made up to hawk a pile of useless or ineffective products you don’t need. In reality, you’ll discover that the most indispensable tool for building muscle mass is your brain. You already have one of those and nobody can charge you for it.
